Planet Earthlings is an early stage project where we hope to create a NextGen Virtual World and Social Network for Tweens to bring young people together from all over the world to learn, create and play. The Planet Earthlings Universe will be empowering, easy to use, with a beautiful design encompassing games, learning, meeting friends and creative tools for an exceptional user experience.
All content on Planet Earthlings will have to live up to the core values of the Planet Earthlings Universe. Key to this are the four C’s: Communication, Creativity, Cooperation and Collaboration. This innovative approach will be more engaging for kids and offers the opportunity of significant parental support.
Our staged development plan has us beginning with the “Acting Kindly” printed card game where players will practice random acts of kindness and playful acts of entertainment to bring smiles and laughter to those they encounter. After that we will be creating the first mobile games leading to the big goal of prototyping, then building, a fully graphical virtual world and social network.
This website will be the gathering place for Earthlings everywhere to be a part of the project, share their ideas on how empower kids and helping make the world a better place. Moving forward we plan to have forums and groups for discussions, blog posts for sharing ongoing developments, content and news as well as FAQs and Wiki for key information about the project.
Child safety will be a top priority being dealt with by a combination of traditional and innovative approaches including games encouraging personal responsibility and conflict management. Planet Earthlings will create a child friendly environment and earn the trust of parents. Give us your ideas, but be patient. If we’re going to try new things it will take a while to find an innovative and powerful way to truly empower the young.
This site is created to bring together everyone interested in a vision of creating something special by and for children. Take part in group discussions, share your ideas, and bring along your kids…we need their suggestions if we’re going to help them change the world. Come on Earthlings…Let’s do it!
